WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
NYC Creative Salon is looking for a creative Social Media Manager to lead the organization’s social media presence. This position will manage the curation and creation of NYC Creative Salon’s Instagram and Facebook content.
Responsibilities:
+ Plan the monthly content calendar across Instagram & Facebook and produce a weekly content schedule that brings to life NYC Creative Salon’s narrative & personality. Plan how each piece of content will be produced and sourced.
+ Identify artists, curators, bloggers, critics in the art / social communities and build a community of influencers, organization advocates and other creatives from whom you will source and curate content for our feed.
+ Push creative boundaries in order to generate fresh content that connects with NYC Creative Salon’s audience in new ways.
+ Analyze performance of social content on a weekly basis and use this to constantly evolve the calendar moving forward.
+ Be the eyes and ears for the team on what’s trending on social media.
Qualifications:
+ Social media content creation experience.
+ An intuition for the type of content that engages on Instagram.
+ An affinity for the arts and understanding of the current art trends.
+ Ability to take direction and understand NYC Creative Salon's art point of view.
+ Organized and great with time management. You’ll need to plan out your time in a way that enables you to keep up with the pace of content generation required.
